home show happiness.

A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend the Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show at Mana Wynwood. They paired me with an incredibly talented interior designer named Roberta Marcelino with Studio Nova Interiors who was asked to create a living room space inspired by yours truly. All I can say is that I was floored (pun intended!)

Before entering the space, I had no idea what to expect. Roberta and I had chatted on the phone where I told her a little bit more about my life and she used my social presence to inspire the look and feel of the space. I got dressed that morning in an amazing skirt and button-down floral set from The Kooples and headed to my big debut.

Lo and behold I walked into a space that I literally matched. How crazy is that! The pattern on my dress may as well have been the pattern on the wallpaper. Being a talented interior designer is not only about your own expertise and taste but also about listening to the wants and desires of your client. Roberta nailed it. And no, I didn’t get a sneak peek before.

My favorite parts of the space were the custom designed white leather couch, the texturized floral wall paper and last but certainly not least, the cute little dog bed that made its debut for Choonie. It’s all in the details, and I see them all!

I was so honored to be chosen for this project. There was an immense amount of creativity around me and I so feed off of that. Hope to be invited back next year.
